Team Hermes/ First Post/ General Objectives

Hello everyone, I'm FC.  If you know me from elsewhere, than I'm FreedomCaged in those parts, but that doesn't really matter to the game at hand.  Anyways, If you're here, it's probably because you got my e-mail.  I'm not an avatar, and this blog isn't a part of the game, so you don't need to hang around if you don't want to.  I'm just another player like you guys, and just because I'm used to it, I feel like the blog layout is a better way to go about this than chain e-mails.  Basiclly, I made this blog as a place for us (Team Hermes) to talk about the posts and the game, and find ways to collaborate and stratagize before we post on each update.  I think haveing a place like this to interact will help us stay strong and organized.

I'm going to leave this blog as open for a little while, but later I'm going to close it to a members only blog, so that Team Mercury can't spy on all of our plans and such, so you'll probably want to click the "follow blog" button right away after you read this.  I may also add some more authors, I haven't decided yet, but really all of the nessecary communication should be able to happen in the comments section.  My plan is to follow each update on Herme's blog with a corresponding post here, summarizing what happened and then opening the floor to plans and suggestions on how we are going to interact with Malcom (or whoever might replace him, assuming that's possible).  Any member of team Hermes is, of course, welcome to comment here and talk about what they think should be done.  Also, any member of team Hermes who does not agree with the majority plan or direction is free to go about with there own plans.  Basiclly, as long as you are a member of team Hermes you won't be blocked or moderated so long as don't personally attack or try to troll any of the other members, lets keep it poilite as possible.

Anyways, on to the post.

Basic Summary:
We learn a little about the man whose life we are going to be influncing, Malcom.  He is basiclly a geek, kind of a loser, though he's evidently good at faking conversations.  We don't know what his job is, which means we may be able to pick it for him later.  The post is short, and it ends with him waking up and a prompting from the great Hermes himself to provide direction for Malcom.

My plans:
I've already posted, directing him towards getting ready for the day ahead of him.

General Observations:
It's really to early in the game to glean a whole lot from this post.  Basiclly all we know is that we're supposed to direct Malcom, though to what degree, and how much effect our comments will have is still unkown.  I'm of the opinion we take it slow, until we can figure out where we're headed, how much control we have, and what those mysterious points are for.

Questions? Comments? Plans? Theories? Ideas? The rest is up to you guys, what do you think so far?

  1. Nice idea to do this in a blog format. As for the current situation. Beauty at least is we can post differing ideas for now to give a nice variety of options for them to choose from.

I'm sure when things get later into more bigger plot territory, we can band together a lot more. but for now, plenty of different options will probably help them with different routes.

But yeah I agree, keep it slow while this starts its early stages off. See what develops and what is going on.

  2. Oh come on now! One comment, that's it? At least let me know you got the e-mail, I sent it to seven people. Come on people we're team freaking Hermes. At least send me an e-mail or click the follow button, I'm going to be closing this to non-members soon anyways.

  3. Don't freak out too much dude. This isn't my main email. I just got the thingy. You might want to give it a little time.

On a different note, I vote we change our team name from team Hermes to team freaking Hermes.

    1. Heh, I tend to get a little overdramatic, don't worry too much, though, I'm not actually freaking out. Well we clearly aren't stratagizing any fantastic plans just yet, so I'll defiently give it a little more time. Besides, there's already some new players that haven't been sorted yet, I'll e-mail them, too once the list is updated

Yes to the name change, so much yes.
